Terms of Use

Last updated: October 19, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME] ("SportSched", "we", "us"). They apply when you use the SportSched app or website. By creating an account or using SportSched, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use SportSched.

1. Who can use SportSched

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. You may add information about children only if you are their parent or legal guardian, or have that person's permission.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in details private. You're responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us right away at support@sportsched.ca if you think someone else has used it.

3. Schedules are for convenience: always double-check

SportSched gathers schedules from leagues, associations and facilities that we don't control. Games and practices can be moved, cancelled or published with errors, and changes may not reach SportSched right away. Always confirm important details, such as times, locations and cancellations, with your team or league. We aren't responsible for missed or late arrivals, travel costs, or other losses caused by schedule information that is wrong or out of date.

4. Acceptable use

Please don't:

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

5. Your content

Information you add, such as your children's details and your own events, stays yours. You let us store and use it only to provide SportSched to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Our content

The SportSched name, logo, app and website belong to us. League and team names belong to their owners. Showing them in SportSched doesn't mean those organizations endorse or partner with us.

7. Price

SportSched is currently free. If we ever introduce paid features, we'll tell you clearly before you're charged anything.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep SportSched running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, pause or stop features. If we shut SportSched down completely, we'll give you notice when we reasonably can.

9. Disclaimer and limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, SportSched is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and our total liability to you for any claim related to SportSched is limited to $100 CAD. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using SportSched and delete your account at any time.

11. Changes to these terms

If we make important changes to these terms, we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using SportSched after that, you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of [PROVINCE] and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
